The buzz is building: Gwlana blog tour
It’s hard to believe that in just three short weeks Brenda and Felicity will be welcoming knitters to Beggar’s Reach in beautiful Pembrokeshire and getting started on another long weekend filled with creativity and exploration designed to push knitters out of their comfort zones. In a good way – I promise!
The reason I know, is that I had the pleasure of being at Gwlana back in October 2012 – right after I moved to the UK. Being away for a weekend tucked into a hotel in the Welsh countryside with our time filled with knitting was like an illicit luxury. And the fact that we are all complicit made Gwlana all the more like a special, secret club. Many of us may not have known each other on Friday afternoon when things kicked off but come Saturday lunchtime we were fast friends.
But like all knitting secrets, we want to share them, don’t we? Which is why we thought it would be great to spread that love across a mini blog tour to let you know what more about what you can expect to experience in May (and there are still some spaces available, if you’re wondering!).
On Monday the Gwlana blog tour kicks off with Catherine at Chopkins Knits. This May will be Catherine’s fourth Gwlana experience – which kind of says it all about how awesome the weekend is going to be. Here’s the rest of the tour schedule:
Monday, 27 April – Chopkins Knits
Tuesday, 28 April – Yarn in the City
Wednesday, 29 April – Knit Like You Mean It
Thursday, 30 April – Knit British
Friday, 1 May – Shinybees
Follow along, find out what makes Gwlana so special, and maybe find some new blogs along the way too!
